Velodrome and indoor swimming pools hall, Berlin
The design of velodrome and indoor swimming pools hall was part of the Berlin candidature for the Olympic Games in the year 2000. Afterwards it was reorganised for a multi-purpose sports and festival events hall. GUS was assigned by the Olympia Sportstättenbauten GmbH (OSB) to supervise the project until the approval planning was completed and continued work for the designing architects and engineers.

A space allocation plan was designed to accommodate numerous different functions from the Sechs-Tage-Rennen (Six-Days-Race) to dressage, to triathlon or to large concert festivals.

Requirements planning for the sports associations
Functional procedures (infrastructure, delivery, escape route design)
Implementation of wheelchair accessible design
Sports functional building consultation of architects and engineers
